Tsuruhashi (ツルハシ) is a character in the anime and manga series Saikyo Ginga Ultimate Zero Battle Spirits.
Appearance[]
Tsuruhashi has orange hair and blue goggles that make him appear bug-eyed. He wears a body suit which is mostly brown but has black on his arms and legs. His outfit also has various green stripes, and yellow around his neck.
Personality[]
He likes to rap and considers himself a good dancer. He ends most of his sentences in "Yo."
But in rare times when he takes off his goggles, he shows a more handsome face and talk a normal tone.
Biography[]
Tsuruhashi is a member of the Galaxy Triumvirate. He battled against Laila and won, gaining the space compass.
Later, he battled against Rei and was defeated. Afterwards, the Galaxy Triumvirate returned to their leader, Miroku, who was mad at them for failing to get the compass. He ordered them to find it.
On planet Ice Cube, Tsuruhashi battled Rei with a modified deck, risking an ultimate crystal. He was defeated again.
He and the others seem to have a history as performers on planet ASAKUSA.
During the Justice Cup, it was revealed that Tsuruhashi used to be good-looking. He put on goggles to better fit with the Triumvirate. During his battle against Hashibuto, he took them off in order to win, discarding his normal personality in the process. He lost the match. Afterwards, Hashibuto returned the goggles to him.
When the final battle against Nakes begins, the Triumvirate decides to flee. However, when they notice Miroku isn't punishing them, they feel bad for having never done anything useful, and decide to save him. They break inside of Nakes to pull him out, along with Denebola and Rukinosu.
In the epilogue, they join Miroku on this aplogy trip, while searching for the Ultimate Battle Spirits Neo.
