- Lord-Dragon is based on MomotarÅ, a character from Japanese folktale. MomotarÅ was a boy who had been discovered by an elderly couple inside a peach (which is referenced when Lord-Dragon is summoned in the anime). Years later, with the help of a talking dog, a monkey, and a pheasant, MomotarÅ was able to defeat a band of oni on a distant island.
- In addition to the many set releases of this card, it was also given away at Japanese KFC restaurants, and an alternate-artwork version was included in the first volume of SaikyÅ Jump's Battle Spirits Heroes manga.
