Introduction
SD44, entitled Battle Spirits Dream Deck: Encounter of Light and Dark (バトスピドリームデッキ【光と闇の邂逅】 Batosupi Dorīmu Dekki [Hikari to Yami no Kaikō]), is the second installment of the Dream Decks series of starter decks released for to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Battle Spirits. It is based off the decks used by Tsurugi Tatewaki and Yaiba from Battle Spirits Sword Eyes. This starter deck was released in Japan on April 7, 2018. It would be released together with another Dream Deck set, SD43. This set includes spirit, magic, brave and nexus cards in colors of Red and white. Among the 44 cards, there are 17+2 different cards, including 13 Commons, 2 Master Rares, and 2 X-Rares.
