Introduction
SD27, titled Special Deck Set: Radiance of the 12 Zodiac X-Rares (スペシャルデッキセット【12宮（きゅう）X（エックス）レアの輝（かがや）き】), is a starter deck in the trading card game. The set was released in Japan on 15 November 2014, and was never released in English. It is the first Starter Deck with all new cards at least 2 copies each, and there is a total of 14 X-rares in the set. All the reprinted cards are adopting the new frame design. For the Zodiac X-Rares, all of them have new art. This set contains a total of 60 cards (40 + 20 cards), 30 pieces blue core, Play sheet, Rule manual, Life counter, Book of Ultimate Cheats, Card Case and 60 card sleeves. The 40 cards form a pre-made deck, and the extra 20 cards serve as upgrading parts. Among the 60 cards, there are 35 different cards, including: 7 Commons, 5 Uncommons, 5 Rares, 4 Master Rares, and 14 X-Rares.
