Two ships creating the mecha was annoying, The design looked cartoonish, I could stand the style of the characters exept for Tendo's sloping head but the mecha was another story. The forced fusion was really where I had a problem because of what fusion represents in the series. That and I had just been betrayed by Evol I wasn't ready for that again.
Original series makes me want to smash my head into a wall, Evol makes me want to skip the wall and just go straight for self-beheading, Logos was actually good and I'm still surprised because I hate this franchise, Nobunaga the Fool was also really fun if it counts.
I really love the OP theme to the first series, though.
The First Series OP is so famous that some fan projects use it even now.
Is Logos Really that good? I didn't hear a thing about it since it first came out. I first watched Logos after a nonsensical and Sucky Aquarion/Evol Crossover. I saw the Plot synopsis for NTF and remembered reading it years ago. Anything Japanese with Jean usually loses my interest fast.
Sousei no Aquarion > Go Tight > Paradoxical Zoo > Yoake no Logos > Yamaidare Darling > Kimi no Shinwa
It might be a shocking concept, but one episode out of 26 is like watching the first 5 minutes of a movie and deciding it is trash. there will be developments across all of it, not to mention kawamori decides a lot on the go, so even if it might seem to go one direction, it can suddenly turn
In logos case, unlike any Aquarion before, the changes of direction were always towards the right direction
Too many red flags for me to just jump in to that series right after seeing the cross-over special that reminded me why I quit Evol. Anyway what's the consensus on the Aquarion movie? I thought that it was an alright alternate telling of Genesis though confusingly it tried to tie into the series and left me wondering if the Movie!Gang would ever meet the Series!Gang.
Also the first five minutes of a movie can tell you a lot about how good it is, though I do see your point.
