LB, short for Londo Bell (ロンド・ベル), is a family debuted in CB25, and one of the two major families from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack series.
The family refers to the Earth Federation Forces' special forces unit that is tasked with investigating and fighting anti-Earth Federation activities. The name comes from the "bell of Londenion", which also means one who rings the alarm bell in times of emergency. Londo Bell in the show is the major force to counter the Neo Zeon faction led by Char Aznable. It is led by Bright Noa, with Amuro Ray being one of the main pilots. It is hence also deeply involved in the development of Nu Gundam and psycho-frame.
The family is currently exclusively Red, and covers Spirits, Braves, Nexuses and Magics.
