Kitan Otonashi (音無奇譚) is a character in the anime and manga series Battle Spirits Shounen Toppa Bashin
Appearance
Personality
Energetic,Sympathic,calm and more intelligent than he seems. He was once left hand to King Uchuuchouten but abandoned the position to take care of his granddaughter Meganeko.
Biography
Meganeko's grandfather. He watched Meganeko while her parents are in Africa, and runs a secondhand bookstore.
Kitan was formerly a member of Numbers Elite and considered a master to many other members, but kept this a secret to Meganeko before she played Battle Spirits. He was trusted by King Uchuuchouten. When Meganeko found out, they battled, and he gave Meganeko his X-Rare, The PhantomLord Rean.
He was captured and brainwashed by Number Nine, along with the other members. In the King Uchuuchouten cup, he and Number Three battled Meganeko and Kyouka, and won. They were ultimately freed by J, Hayami and the pets.
In the epilogue, he's seen playing Battle Spirits with the priest from training camp, an old friend of his.

Kitan uses green, although he may have used yellow in the past.
