Kabuto (カブトー)is a character from the anime and manga series Battle Spirits Double Drive.
Appearance[]
Kabuto is a large man. His outfit is primarily red, consisting of shoulder plates, arm guards, boots, and a helmet stylized with a drum on top.
In Mistral-Bit's trial, Kabuto wears a large The SwordHero Sieg-Susano-Fried card over his body.
Personality[]
Kabuto is self-confident and tends to speak dramatically. He also has a habit of hitting the drum on his helmet occasionally.
Biography[]
Kabuto is one of the battlers of darkness who uses red.
After hearing of General Inui's defeat against a chosen hero, Shunta Mogami, he decided to battle him himself.
Later, he found Shunta with Eto Etoshinmori, Kinoto, and Yoku Albatrosa, another hero. Although he intended to battle Shunta, he was challenged to a battle by Yoku instead. He lost the battle and fled.
Because of the battlers of darkness's recent losing streak to the heroes chosen by the Twelve God-King, their leader, Tatsumi, decided to give one of them a Twelve God-King card he had previously acquired, hoping to use it as a bait to lure out the chosen heroes' God-Kings. Kabuto claimed that he should get the God-King, and if he did, he would definitely win. He then got into a fight with General Inui over the ownership of the card. However, the card was instead given to Kengou.
Later, when General Inui obtained The RoosterTwelveGodKing Gale-Phoenix, Kabuto was part of the Battlers of Darkness who dueled for it. Despite defeating other Battlers of Darkness easily, he lost the God-King to Yoroi.
Sometime after, he was defeated by Ron Gai when he came to challenge Tatsumi.
