Grandstone (
Among the Grandstones, there are normal Grandstones and Mega-Granstones. It is said that Grandwalker Demeter is the one who sent the Mega-Grandstones to Fragment Hexa, the main venue of the events in Rebirth era.
Game-wise, Grandstone functions very much like Grandwalker Nexus. They are unaffected by effects that don't target Grandstone Nexuses, you can't normally put cores onto them, including when they were deployed, and you can't remove cores from them other than via their own effects. They accumulate cores via summons of target from certain families, and can activate relevant supporting effects. While they aren't on the Field, they are pretty much the same as normal Nexus cards.
Unlike Grandwalker Nexuses, however, Grandstone Nexuses accumulates cores via Release, which reacts to both summon and Rebirth, but not Advent. Also, when a certain number of cores are accumulated, instead of Grand Field or Grand Skill, you can activate the Rebirth of the Grandstone themselves. While the Grand Mystery of some Grandstones can treat reduction symbols of the targets they support as fulfilled, Grandstone Nexuses in general have no symbols. This is considered to be a balancing measure developed with the experience from making the Grandwalker Nexuses. As a compensation, there aren't any effects that directly remove Grandstone Nexuses up till now.
