Gekiha (激覇；Gekiha) is a family premiered in BSC45, the draft booster that is also an anniversary booster celebrating the 15th anniversary of the anime, Battle Spirits Shounen Gekiha Dan.
As hinted above, the name of the family is taken directly from the series name, バトルスピリッツ 少年激覇ダン. Cards in the family are in general cards that appeared in the anime, or cards supporting the family, like The GekihaContractor Dan. It hence includes Spirits/Nexuses/Magics in all colors.
First introduced in BSC45, cards in the family in general have six-color reduction symbols to allow players to put them into a single deck easier. A number of cards in the family also possessed effects that support cards in the family directly. Despite so, it had yet become a proper deck until The GekihaContractor Dan was introduced in the next main set, BS70.
