The first episode of the anime series Battle Spirits: Gallet's Revolution.

Gallet met with Varte, and their opinions clashed.

Summary

Visaruga reads out what is written in the Journal of Otherworld, stating that a new race of intelligent species was born, bearing purple blood. This new race is described as Mauve, and is said to have extraordinary intellect, especially in Battle Spirits which they display genius skills. In fear, the Unified Government isolated the Mauves in a faraway place, putting them as research subjects for many generations.

The scene changes, and Gallet is shown to just get off from his motorbike in the undeveloped area "Vanilla". He is shown to be welcomed by many younger Mauves. Gallet also throws out a huge bag at one of the kids, Cook. The bag is revealed to be a large amount of luxurious food ingredients.

Gallet is then greeted by Lime. They discuss about how Gallet is planning to watch the exhibition match held by Lucian Parks and Zephyr Try. Gallet then takes out his necklace, stating that it is given by his father, and he wants to know what exactly Mauves are.

Meanwhile, Lucian is looking out of a window from a building in the Mauve Special Area. He is then visited by Varte Parks, his son, who asks why he still is not asleep. Lucian then declares after the next day, Mauve will be released from oppression after hundreds of years; though Varte questions whether it is actually possible with reliance only on Battle Spirits. Lucian then shows him the deck he will use in the exhibition match, which is a deck based around Imagine Braves. He explains that it is a rare choice from him because he needs to surprise Seyfer, his opponent, who knows well about his play style.

The focus then changes back to Gallet and the others. Lime warns him to be careful as she feels there is something wrong with the exhibition match. Gallet then sets off with his motorbike after he receives a bento from Cook.

Gallet arrives at the stadium, and is approached by two random people, who are mocking his motorbike being an antique. One of them attempts to touch his bike, in which Gallet slaps his hand off, and this triggers them. He is punched in the face, and purple blood drips out from his mouth, revealing that he is a Mauve. The two random people then shout loudly that a Mauve is here, and Gallet is receiving judgment from people around them. Gallet then remembers a moment from when he was small, arguing with his parents why Mauve was receiving the racism. His father held his hand, and said that he wished to defeat this separation with Gallet.

Back to the present, Varte and his group of other Mauves show up, and chases away the people. Varte then introduces himself to Gallet, stating that he and his group are also Mauve, and are willing to help Gallet. Gallet also shakes his hand and introduces himself.

Varte then brings Gallet to a VIP room for the exhibition match. There, they meet Graham Leonard, who is a member of the United Government, and also the chairman of Mauve support committee. Varte then explains to Gallet about his father's ambition, to which Gallet states that his own father also had the same ideology. Though he had passed away, Gallet will inherit his will.

The event begins, and the commentator, MC Kenta, makes the introduction. Both Lucian and Zephyr get onto the stage and started the battle. The whole world is watching the event. The battle is then skipped to the very end, Lucian's field has seven Braves, while Zephyr's field is empty. Zephyr then summons The StarSlayerDragon Darkwurm-Nova, which the Parks do not expect, since there should be nobody knowing about Lucian's deck prior the exhibition battle. Darkwurm-Nova then clears out the Braves on Lucian's field, and took his final life.

Zephyr is declared the winner, and the crowd cheers. Graham is disappointed of the game, and believes that Mauve's independence is another step further to be achieved. Meanwhile, Lucian is not satisfied about the game. He requests a third party committee to investigate about the background, and also states that this battle should be classified invalid, which causes riots from the crowd.

Within fights between the Mauve and other people, Lucian and Varte meet up, with Gallet following from behind. At this moment, Lucian falls onto the ground, and a knife in purple blood also drops out. The other people stop their movements from this terrifying scene. Staring at the Parks, Gallet is reminded of how his father was also assassinated while he was still small. His consciousness is then warped to where the light of core bearer is. He also sees that Varte is with him from a distance. He tries to call out to him, but his voice can't be heard. A purple light then glows from his chest, and the Purple symbol then reveals in front of Gallet; while a red light glows from Varte's chest, and the Red symbol reveals in front of him.

The focus is then returned to the present. Both Gallet and Varte are sent to a hospital, with Gallet waking up first from the hospital bed. Graham tells them that they became unconscious for a week. While they are grieving about what happened in the event, Graham then asks if Gallet and Varte want to study in a school for Mauves, believing that their high intelligence can get their ways through.

Time skips to one year later. Gallet challenges Varte to a game, stating that if Gallet wins, he leaves the school; but if he loses, he follows Varte. Their teacher, Als Glynnhorn, comes out to stop them, but Varte asks her to stop interfering as this is an issue concerning the Mauves. The two of them then enters the battlefield, while the teacher and two other students, Snow McClain and Morgan Baxter, are watching them through a screen.

During the battle, the two never attack. The tension is raised when Gallet summons The DragonKnight Swordius-Dragoon, which the others have never seen it. Gallet states that he summons Swordius-Dragoon only when he wants to convey an important message to Varte. The episode ends after Swordius-Dragoon is reborn into The DragonKnightEmperor Dragonic-Arthur.
