Gaana (ガーナ) is a character in the anime and manga series Battle Spirits Shounen Gekiha Dan
Appearance[]
He is an extremely tall green-skinned man, with thick black hair on his arms, legs and chest. He has a beard, which encircles his head like a mane. He wears a golden helmet of a horned creature with red eyes, a blue pants and shirt, and purple armor
Personality[]
Gaana likes to take many women as wives, which is acceptable in his country.
He's passionate about Battle Spirits to the point that he forgets about anything else while in a battle.
Biography[]
Anime[]
Gaana originated from the green world, but came to the Grand Rolo Championship. When he saw Magisa, he courted her with a ritual from his country, which required her eating a chocolate from him. Although she was unwilling, Gaana refused to give her up, unless Dan, his next opponent, could defeat him. Because Zungurii also ate most of the chocolate, Gaana wanted to keep him as well, to do slave labor. If he won the match, the deal was that he would get Dan and Clackey as well. However, Dan did win the match, and all of their freedom.

In the manga version, he wants to take Kajitsu as his bride instead of Magisa.
