Banned and Restricted Cards

This page listed all banned and limited cards in Japan official competitions, from the Official Battle Spirits Website . This list of cards would be effective from March 30th, 2024.

Cards are generally banned or limited for the following reasons:

Compared to the cost, the advantage gained alone or by creating combos with specific cards is excessive, and it impairs the versatility of deck construction.
With the introduction of new gimmicks, there is a risk of getting caught in the above example. Often implemented as a precautionary measure.
It induces a "solitaire" state in which only one side can play their cards endlessly while the opponent cannot do anything.
Cards having too strong a controlling power but with very few means to remove it (i.e. Mirage cards/cards with continuous effects while placed on the Removed Zone)

The following cards can't be included in your decks.

Limited Cards <1>[]

The following cards can only be included one copy each in your decks.

Limited Cards <20>[]

The following cards can only be included up to 20 copies in your decks.

Banning Pair[]

You can't put the following two cards in the same deck.
