Introduction
CB28, entitled Collaboration Booster: Godzilla - Return of the Kaiju King (コラボブースターゴジラ～怪獣王ノ帰還～), is the twenty eighth collaboration pack. It has been more than four years since the last collaboration item with the Godzilla title and Toho Kaiju series, PB02. TV anime, Godzilla S.P: Singular Point, and the Japanese anime movie trilogy of Godzilla will join the game with the set. It also introduces the first Contract cards to the Godzilla collaboration series, and four decks: Godzilla, King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, and Destoroyah can be constructed with just this set. Popular monster cards from the past will be released as Revivals, making them the first-ever Revival cards in collaboration series. Each pack comes with 6 cards, and each booster box contains one of the four versatile Magic cards reprinted with collaboration illustrations as BOX topper. It was released in Japan on September 30th 2023. It included a total of 69 cards: 28 Commons, 19 Rares, 8 Master Rares, 4 Contract X-Rares, 9 X-Rares and 1 XX-Rare. Among them, 7 cards are reprints. There is a total of 11 cards with Secret Versions in the set. On top of that, Destoroyah (Juvenile Form) (Revival) also has a alternate art version.
