CB23, entitled Collaboration Booster: Evangelion -The True Atonement (コラボブースター エヴァンゲリオン シン実の贖罪), is the second collaboration pack with the Evangelion franchise. Cards based on the Rebuild Evangelion series would be included. There would be upgrades for NERV, WILLE, and Angel deck introduced in the first set. A new deck based on Unit-01 could also be constructed out of the set.
As box purchase campaign, a parallel illustration version of one of the 10 character cards included in the set would be offered. These parallel illustration versions can't be obtained via opening normal packs. For gacha machines, there are no such restrictions. Apart from this, there are normal secret arts of other cards in the set, which can be obtained via opening booster packs. Those secret arts are "puzzle cards", where the art of two or more of the cards can join to form a complete illustration.
The set would be released on 30th July 2022. This set included Spirit, Nexus, Brave, and Magic cards in all six colors.
It included a total of 69 cards: 30 Commons, 23 Rares, 9 Master Rares, 6 X-Rares and 1 XX-Rare.
