| Battle Spirits Twin Wafers ~Sengoku Tempest~ (バトルスピリッツ ツインウエハース ～戦国争嵐～) is a wafer set to be released on Aug 15th, 2022.
When compared to the previous wafer sets, there are quite a few big changes: Each pack now comes with two cocoa cream flavor wafers, each with individual packing, and a random card. With this the card package would no longer be tainted with wafer crumbs. The name of the wafer set is hence also changed to "Twin Wafers". All the cards in the set would also have the metallic relief treatment. The official marked price of each pack is also slightly increased by 30 yen. It is also the first time XX-Rare being reprinted in a wafer set.
The whole set is themed around the Burning Legend Saga and its anime, Battle Spirits Burning Soul. It includes a total of 25 different cards, a larger volume just like the last set, among which there are 24 reprint cards and one new X-Rare: The ObsidianInsectNinja Yamikage. There aren't any renewal of Block Icons for the reprint cards. Among the reprint cards, 11 of them are adopting new CG art. While not a reprint card, The ObsidianInsectNinja Yamikage is also adopting CG art using the model of The WhirlwindNinja Kirikage. Different from the past, the "artist name" of all the cards with CG arts this time are also changed to "Bandai Namco Filmworks".
