Battle Spirits Double Drive (バトルスピリッツダブルドライブ) is an anime inspired by Bandai's Battle Spirits trading card game and produced by Sunrise. It is not related to any previous Battle Spirits anime work. It began airing April 6th, 2016 at 5:55 PM on TV Tokyo. This is a half hour earlier than the previous series. It also airs on BS Japan.
It is directed by Kunihisa Sugishima and composed by Katsumi Hasegawa. Original character designs are provided by Naoki Iwamoto (Magico) and adapted by Yoshinori Yumoto. For more information on this anime's staff, see Double Drive Staff by Episode.
This series is not currently licensed or dubbed outside of Japan
The series succeeded the previous Battle Spirits Burning Soul anime.
