Battle Spirits Burning Soul (バトルスピリッツ烈火魂 <バーニングソウル> ) is an anime inspired by Bandai's Battle Spirits trading card game and produced by Sunrise. It is not related to any previous Battle Spirits anime work. It will begin airing April 1st, 2015 at 6:30 PM on TV Tokyo. It will also air on BS Japan starting April 8th.

It is directed by Kunihisa Sugishima and composed by Katsumi Hasegawa. Original character designs are provided by Kenta Shinohara (Sket Dance) and adapted by Yoshinori Yumoto.

This series is not currently licensed or dubbed outside of Japan

The series succeeded the previous Saikyo Ginga Ultimate Zero Battle Spirits anime.

Plot

In the near future, a battle card game known as "Battle Spirits" had gained popularity, and sparked a major movement. The battlers have waged a war in various locations, called "Battle Spirits Warring States Period." Manipulating decks of all six colors -Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, White, Purple-, rivals wage fierce mortal combat. That is exactly rivalry of local warlords. Obstinacy and obstinacy collides in order to gain the victory through battle! Friendship sprouts! Who on earth will win the world of the Warring States?!
