Arata Yakushiji (薬師寺 アラタ) is a character in the anime and manga series Battle Spirits Heroes

Appearance

Arata has spiked up brown hair. He has an x-shaped scar on his forehead. He wears a white shirt, blue jeans, brown gloves and an orange jacket.

Personality

He's very passionate, and likes to inspire other card battlers. He's also a bit of a pervert, especially showing interest in Mika.

Biography

Arata is the Battle Spirits champion. He considers Antony Starck his personal rival, and is always looking to battle any strong card battlers. He plans to battle the winner of the Hero Championships, as a reward.

Prior to the championship, he battled the number two player, Antony Starck, from Europe, in a special match. Arata won, claiming it was because of his strong Battle Spirits spirit, and bond with his cards.

Despite his skill, he's never been able to defeat Mika once. He thought that If he defeated her, she would date him.
