Appeal (アピール) is a keyword introduced in SD50 and BSC35, exclusive to Coord-named Spirits, as an Appeal consists of bringing forth the full radiance of the Coord they wear and entrancing the audience. The keyword's text can be found in the following format:
- Appeal - (When Attacks) By sending Soul Core from this Spirit to the Trash, [effect].
- Appeal - (When Attacks) [condition], you can send Soul Core from this Spirit to the Trash, When you've done so, [effect].
- Flash Appeal - (When Attacks) [condition], you can send Soul Core from this Spirit to the Trash, When you've done so, [effect].
In-universe, Appeals are techniques which an idol can use multiple times, which is represented in-game by needing Soul Core to be sent to the Trash for them to activate it and, as the Appeal depends on the Coord, as each Coord is different, so are the effects of the Appeals.
As Soul Core is frequently sent to Trash, a deck focused on Appeal can also uses additional cards that can retrieve Soul Core from Trash, such as The GroundDeityBlade Ootenta and The StarFest Sandy-Z-Leonora. The StarFest Rize-Chromwell also enables the deck greatly by changing the activation condition to paying one cost. The downside of Soul Core reliance is, as it was when the gimmick was introduced in Burning Legend, the limited use of effects and the inability to make use of defensive magic such as Diamond Wall.
