Abura Katabura (アブラ・カタブラ) is a character in the anime and manga series Battle Spirits Heroes.
Appearance
He has brown eyes and hair, and wears a turban over his head, with a gold gem. His clothes have a royal Arabian feel. He wears a white shirt under a red and gold vest, orange pants and gold bracelets.
Personality
Katabura is a friendly, albeit somewhat sheltered boy. He's very competitive, but a sore loser.
Biography
Katabura is an oil magnate prince. He has a talking parrot, Moshireeta, which he sees as normal, because his family has always had talking parrots as servants. As he's a very prestigious person, he doesn't know everything about the lives of commoners.
Katabura met Hajime while on a flying carpet. He crashed into some punks who were harassing Hajime, Kimari and Kouta, only serving to anger them further. They got into a battler, and Katabura defeated all three of them. Afterwards, he went out with Hajime and the others to have pizza. He and Hajime got into an argument, which turned into an eating contest. When eating the pizza, they were rewarded with cards to choose from. Katabura chose Roc-Aladdin, and Moshireeta chose Majin-Golem (based on Aladdin's genie), which he gave to Katabura.
Hajime and Katabura battled, to test their new cards. Though Roc-Aladdin and Majin-Golem has a powerful defensive combo together, Hajime still won. Katabura started to throw a tantrum, but once he got over it, told Hajime that he would make it to the world tournament, and have a rematch with him there.
He was chosen for the world tournament and is a representative of the middle east. Katabura won through his block, and made it to the semi-finals, where he faced Tegamaru. Though he attempted to prevent Tegamaru from summoning Amaterasu-Dragon, he was still defeated.
